Archive for April 2009

We are doing so much in Southern Alberta creating and stretching our spoken word boundaries. Creating more than just recreating, more than just slow moving trains and soulful lain down blues, more than just another Canadian wanna be Kerouac, Atwood or Cohencause we are the real jazzed components of the ever growing spoken word, more than hip hoppin rappin causes or sensations. We are the spoken words from April, for the showering month for the blooming of May. Special regards to Kirk Miles and Ken Sinclair showing the grace that the spoken word can demonstrate. Scott Alderson it is good to hear you back. For you  that could not attend I am sorry that Gord Mclennon would not let me  upload his wonderful words, maybe that is incentive to get yourself out and about within this spoken word milieu. Our  Society is not  waiting it is....
