Thank you to Tom, Dymphny, and Tyler
Thanks also to the Single Onion for hosting a brilliant 3 part lecture series.
Hey hears a work poem editorial from RAW Salvage Ltd.
How’s this work
Someone asked a simple question.
“Who are you recording this for?”
there was suspicion, in their tone of voice,
challenge in their actions.
one even took our waiver and tore it up
in our faces.
Aww… they had no need for that paranoia,
we will not steal or fight with you, to promote you reading.
please, if you want, keep your words for your friends and yourself.
keep the illusion of success in your mind.
“it’s not personal” you declared with a fake hug and cold stare,
worn words, old language, self-serving, a little biased,
RAW Salvage is sympathetic to you providing no worth to yourself
words have no value unless they are read, heard or shared,
we honour your right to carry on, unheard, unseen but do not malign us
with your paranoid thoughts that you have something we’d want
and finally a formalized response to the query
after a lot of thought and some fear of nasty reprisals
we record for those who are not here but want to hear
for those who want to share and believe in the right to do so
